We talked a while back about the way congregations can serve and help and show mercy. One way is to host a blood drive. Everyone of us is going to be in contact with someone that needs blood or may need blood ourselves someday. We have a unique perspective on blood because the Bible says that the “life is in the blood”. Jesus shed His blood that we might have life and have it abundantly.
Trinity congregation hosted a blood drive at Drayton. They called people and made treats and bought juice and helped with registration and it was much appreciated as you can see from the note the blood drive workers left behind. It is a great way for us to be helpful and good corporate citizens.
