I have heard from the Mary Okeyo travelers. They have arrived and are beginning their journey. I hope that they get to see this area and center at Cheparia. This is a center that founded a church. It normally is the other way around. We wanted to connect the children with a pulpit and a font. In this center there was no church but the church built up around it. They have the beams for the roof, but I am not sure that they have a roof yet.
I envy them their trip, especially those that have never been in an emerging world country. I envy them the opportunity to visit with our brothers and sisters in a partner church and how they do mission and mercy. We still have a lot to learn.
