At Advent we wait for someone. We wait for Christ to come through His word, we wait for Him to come again in glory. We remember with joy how He came. So for whom do you wait? Hear John Fritz.
We call him Emmanuel, God with us. He freed us and kept us from sin and we call him Savior. He has released us from the slavery of our passions and we call him Redeemer. He teaches us the love of a father and we call him Rabbi. He molds and master our lives and we call him Lord. He walks with us to the valley of the shadow and we call him resurrected brother, the Captain of our faith! He prepares a place in heaven Heaven for us, and we call him Author and Finisher of our faith.
On Him we wait and say, “come Lord Jesus”.
