In the middle of this picture is Gifty Kollie from Cotton Tree, Liberia. She is spending the summer at Lutheran Island Camp and will return this fall to Mayer Lutheran High School where she will begin her sophomore year thanks to the continued support from individuals and congregations like Pastor Dennis McManus and St. Marks in Benson Minnesota. So while Gifty is here Pastor McManus daughter Julie is going to Kenya to serve as a GEO missionary. That means Globally Engaged in Outreach. Julie traveled to Kenya on one of the Mary Okeyo Scholarship trips which we are starting to fund raise for again.
She is at one of the best camps! My father helped build the road that now connects the island to the main land. We are heading there for Christ Serve Ranch dedication.
